personality ever! What an influence he has had on my
professional life! I am a 20 year radio talk host myself,
because of hearing and meeting Gary Dee when I was a kid! Gary
paved the way for Stern, and the rest.

Comment : my mom (rest her soul) got a car stolen! had her
radio tuned to Gary. Gary aired it, the car was found minutes
later. He called a spade a spade!!!!!

I never thought that those would be our good old days.

Comment : His favorite retort at KMAK in my home town of
Fresno was "I didn't saddle up to come in second!!!!" Guess he
never did - - -

Comment : As a student of Cleveland radio, I can say Gary
was one of the great teachers. We were very lucky to have real
personalities like him and Imus in the market - and Finan's
still here! Rest in Peace Gary.

funeral, and I was so glad that I did. Randy was just
terrific. And when George Forbes looked over at Gary and said
"give 'em steel partner"..... I encourage everyone to send in
whatever Gary Dee stuff y

HIGH SCHOOL PICNIC. WE FRIENDS MOBILIZED TO RAISE MONEY TO
HELP HIS FAMILY. AT 16 YRS. OF AGE, GARY HAD ME COME TO THE
STUDIO AND RERCRD FREE PROMOS FOR VARIOUS EVENTS. HE WAS WARM,
KIND ,GRACIOUS AND ATO

he was the funniest. He was a true pioneer in shock radio. I
still listen to his 2 cassettes I have (Dirty Dee & Gary Dee
Bits & Pieces) and wish he was still around to make me laugh.
